From the age of 3 Kingsley Davidson has been passionate about numbers, so it was no surprise that he followed in his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps and pursued a career in accounting.

After achieving excellent results in Accounting and Maths in VCE, Kingsley graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from Melbourne University in November 2000.  He immediately began work as the Assistant Accountant for Austral Lock, a very successful company that has been manufacturing in Australia for over 30 years.  As Assistant Accountant he managed the A/P and payroll and developed a company ‘policies and procedures manual’ that addressed everything from car parking and dress code to harassment and internet/e-mail usage.  After just 18 months in that role he was promoted to Company Accountant, an autonomous role in which he managed the entire accounts department for another 4 years.  This challenging role covered almost everything a bookkeeper can do, from all the basics through to payroll, superannuation, workcover, FBT, BAS, IAS, R&D tax concessions, and assisting with company tax returns.

During 2006 he worked in a couple of short-term accounting roles in the construction industry which gave him a taste for contract bookkeeping, so in February 2007 he bit the bullet and decided to set up his own business specialising in bookkeeping for small-medium businesses.  With over 8 years experience in all aspects of bookkeeping, Kingsley offers an excellent standard of service at an affordable rate.

By mid-2009 we have built up a clientele base of over 20 regular clients and have 1 full-time and 2 part-time employees.
